Payment that fits
your purchase.
Deposit & balance payment
Pay an agreed deposit to secure the inventory. Pay the remaining balance by bank wire before collection or shipment, following the agreed verification process. Full payment in advance is also available where agreed.
Letter of credit
For qualifying transactions, payment may be arranged through an irrevocable documentary letter of credit issued by an acceptable bank, subject to agreed terms and bank review. Payment is made against the documents specified in the credit.
Escrow payment
Where suitable, funds are held by an agreed independent escrow provider and released when the transaction’s agreed conditions are met. Inspection, release conditions and fees are agreed before funds are deposited.
Approved payment terms
Eligible buyers may request deferred payment terms, subject to credit review, transaction approval and any required bank or credit-insurance arrangements. Apply below if you wish to request credit.

Request payment terms — business credit application
Start your credit review.
Complete this application only if you are requesting deferred payment terms. A credit application is not required to discuss bank transfer, a letter of credit or escrow.
We may request supporting business documents or further authorization. Submitting an application does not approve credit. Do not enter bank account numbers, payment-card details, passwords or personal identity documents.
Where applicable, credit insurance may be considered separately through Export Development Canada or another provider. Eligibility and coverage require independent assessment; this application does not confer government or insurer approval.
